In 2025, to commemorate the 33rd anniversary of the formation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, a military-patriotic competition was organized among first-year students under the motto "The Army of the Great Steppe is the Pillar of Independence" to promote the significance of the country's defense sphere.
The main goal of the competition was to foster a patriotic spirit among the younger generation, to cultivate love for their country and land, to encourage the conscientious fulfillment of their duty to the Motherland, and to promote the history and achievements of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan.
